Here I am at the start of the water trail

A leafy canopy covers the trail -

The water trail is shallow -

There are places to stop and rest on the way

Here the shimmering sunrays ..

Further up the trail -

Majrase is off the beaten track -

Majrase nature reserve is in the valley of Bethsaida, north east of the Kinneret [Sea of Galilee].

This gives relief from the heat of the sun and looks almost tropical!

It's an easy hike in the refreshing cool water!

You can take some pictures or have a picnic

.. dance on the water with silver shoes!

The water widens out and you can see catfish and turtles swimming!

Yet it's well worth a visit to discover the peace and tranquility there.
